Do's & Don'ts of Brushing Your Dogs Teeth 07/03/2010
Start brushing their teeth as pup's or if your pet is older you might what to have your vet do the1st cleaning for you. I read many articles about pet health care and when it comes to brushing their teeth I am very surprised to see (or not to see) the words: "Do Not Use Human Toothpaste". Our toothpaste in most cases has fluoride in it and this is not suitable for your pet. Some doggie toothpaste does have fluoride in it but it is not as much as we have in our human toothpaste. Another product that you should not use is human mouthwash. If your pet has an ongoing problem with bad breath check with your vet, it very well could be a medical or dental problem. Here is a great video that explains the how to's...and she actually does say "Do Not Use People Toothpaste" Here is a really great product to try. You get everything you will need.CommentsLeave a Reply | Pet Lost Found
